Jon Spickelmier, Owner, Agent and Resident Celebrity
Jon Spickelmier, the owner of Spickelmier Insurance Agency, graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 1998 after four solid years of performance on the football field in addition to exemplary academics.
Playing as the center, Jon was the player who had the most commanding view of the defensive lineup, and thus was the one responsible for making the first shift of the offensive line to provide maximum protection for the quarterback — as well as getting up close and personal with one (or more) defenders once the ball was snapped.
His football career left Jon with a powerful sense of teamwork and camaraderie that is palpable in his office, as well as a strong instinct for recognizing when and where a friend — or client — is vulnerable. His extensive experience with a wide range of insurance products gives him the toolset he needs to help protect clients from those vulnerabilities. In short, Jon is the guy you want watching your back; because watching backs is his passion, his hobby, and his profession.
Since graduating from Notre Dame, Jon has dedicated his professional life to building his Jacksonville independent insurance agency. Today, Spickelmier Insurance serves countless clients in Jacksonville, St Augustine and surrounding Florida communities. Jon took the independent route because he knew this would allow him to best serve the needs of his clients. As an independent agency, Spickelmier Insurance is not “captive” to any particular insurer. This allows them to shop around freely to find the company and policy that offers the best coverages and saves customers the most money.
Adrienne Arnone, Agent and Resident Altruist
After a career in the claims and consulting side of the industry, Adrienne is currently putting her talents to work at Spickelmier Insurance.
“Finding the right coverage at the best price for each and every client is a challenge I take very seriously,” she says while puzzling over a particularly intricate customer request.
Adrienne shares that no two inquiries are ever the same, and attributes her dogged enthusiasm to a curious nature, a sense of enjoyment to be discovered in every task and a genuine concern for the needs of others. Not everyone finds state flood regulation fascinating but Adrienne makes it almost sound interesting when discussing the matter with a newcomer to our coast.
When not at her desk in the St. Augustine office, Adrienne volunteers at Ayla’s animal shelter, cares for her own furry brigade, and writes for a few local publications when time permits. With her husband and mom in the area, you might just see her out and about extolling the virtues of a properly insured domicile!
